Welcome! I am Atilla, the craftsman behind Tagelharpa Lair. Based in Pécs, I specialize in hand-crafting tagelharpas for musicians, reenactors, and folk enthusiasts around the world.

Why the Tagelharpa?
My fascination with ancient folk instruments started with listening to a lot of traditional folk music with traditional folk instruments. The rustic, droney sound of the tagelharpa mesmerized me, and I found my calling, I started making them. 

My Crafting Process
Every tagelharpa in my shop is handcrafted, ensuring it receives my full attention from raw timber to final tuning. I don't believe in mass production; I believe in building durable, soulful instruments that are easy to tune and play.
